The Course Plan

It is often said that Stocksfield is two courses in one. The first half is all played in fairways lined with native British Oaks, and Birches offering shelter from the breeze but a tough challenge requiring accurate play.
The second half is more open encouraging the golfer to open their shoulders and let loose... but there are still troubles ahead if you don't keep it on the fairway! YARDAGE MARKERS

There are green posts either side of the fairway at the 150 yds mark and embedded discs at 200 yds, 150 yds and 100 yds where appropriate.
All yardage measurements are to the front of the greens.

OUT OF BOUNDS

Out of bounds are marked with white posts or are at the perimiter fences.
The paved area left of the first green and the putting green, clubhouse and car parks are all out of bounds.

HAZARDS

Water hazards are marked with red and yellow posts.
Rakes are to be left within the bunkers.
