The Fred Punshon Memorial League
Each event will be a self-contained competition with sweep and two’s.
There will also be points awarded for the top 20 places and these points will count toward the overall League results.
The format will alternate between Medal Play and Stableford. For the medal rounds, Ladies will have 3 courtesy shots added to their handicap - the difference in SSS between the Ladies’ vs the Men’s courses.
Stableford rounds are assessed on points and Ladies receive 1 courtesy shot (based on the Men's SSS being one less than the course par).
At the end of the season, a player’s top 10 point scores only will be considered with the balance being discarded. (This allows for players who cannot enter every Sunday League event due to other Sunday competitions).
The player with the most points will be the league winner and will receive the Fred Punshon Memorial Trophy.
Ladies and girls will play off the red tees and gentlemen and boys off the white tees, each using their own stroke indices.
Full handicap allowance.
