Tynedale Sports Council Awards - 2009
At the awards night - 1st December 2009 - which Chris Paisley and Richie Armstrong attended on behalf of the club, Chris was awarded 'Sportsman of the Year' .
This was given for the special contributions he has made which have enhanced the representation of golf and served as an example to others in Tynedale.
Chris also received the Tynedale Trophy – this is presented to one of the thirteen award winners. In making their decision on the recipient the committee recognise truly outstanding achievement.
As Norma Ferguson said on hearing the news…
"The boy did good ! We are all very proud of him".
Chris is also coming along to our Prize Presentation evening on Saturday 5th December
