At the AGM Friday 9th April 2010, the new Officers were welcomed by all present
The AGM took place on Friday 9th April 2010 with a good turnout of members. All of the regulars were there and a scattering of new faces, too.
Everything went smoothly with the Chairman and Treasurer explaining the Committee's view on the current financial situation and laying out the intended course of action.
The outgoing Captain Stuart McDonnell and incoming Captain, Les Palmer, exchanged ties and compliments and both made entertaining speeches talking of their reactions to completing the year in Stuart's case and taking it all on for Les.
Finally, Bill Martin handed over the regalia of President to the incoming President - Kate Stephenson - who with no more ado, smartly closed the meeting!
