Course Close down and WHS info

The challenges of 2020 continue with the government announcement of a second national lockdown from Thursday 5th November until Wednesday 2 December. They have explained the reasons behind the restrictions and we hope this action will help to reduce the spread of the virus.

We can confirm that the Golf Course, including practice facilities, Clubhouse and Professional's shop will be closed during this period. We are pleased that we have the support of the sport's governing bodies, including England Golf who will hopefully shorten the time where golf is not permitted. We will continue to update you with any developments and as soon as we know when we can resume competition golf we will contact everyone with details of the winter competitions program.

As you all know the WHS is now up and running and you can check out your handicap index on the new 'England Golf' WHS platform by clicking here  you will need to register using your CDH number which can be found here.

Remember you need to convert your new handicap Index to a course handicap and this can be done using the chart found positioned around the clubhouse and on the 1st tee. When playing in competitions your handicap will be converted to a playing handicap which is dependant upon the competition format (for example singles competitions will be 95% of course handicap).

As it is unlikely we will be playing any more qualifying competitions during the winter season your handicap will not change unless you are affected by the annual handicap revue.
